Not photography related, but I'm hoping someone here can help.

A local skate shop wants a couple decks designed with graphics similar to beer brands that are popular in the area. I know it's been done before, and I know 4Frnt has made a Pilsner-esque ski, so I know there is a way around this. Can anyone shed a light on the subject? They want a to use Pilsner and Kokanee.

one way is to create a seperate llc for each deck--pretty sure world industries built itself up this way in the early 90s. Then, if the corpo decided to sue, they would be suing the company of the deck, and that's it--so whatever the sales were for that skate is all they could recoup. But, in this case, I'd imagine the company might see it is as positive cross branding...could be worth simply contacting the corporation in question and seeing if they're down. I know K2 made a collab ski with PBR...
