Since it is still in it's "soft launch" stage I figured I would get some opinions. Let me know what you think of the site and the portfolio as well.

Thanks!
Ryan

the menu is really tacky

but the big photos are awesome. Really like that way of doing it.

Thanks for the input man, not really sure how else I would do it though. Any thoughts on the content of the site?

got some rad stuff in there

really not understanding the first image i see when i go to your website. from looking at the content available you appear to be primarily wake/water shooter, but then have some rando image that doesn't seem like it applies to the clients the rest of the content is marketed to.
i like having all navigation in one part of the screen, so moving the menu to the bottom with the thumbnails would help. also having the information hidden in a bar which you don't see till you 'hover' it is concealing the way to navigate your site. so having 'campaigns, photos, video, contact' immediately visible as a menu under the pictures will help you out.
don't have the menu always covering images, it takes away from the shots
have 'next, previous' or 'right, left' picture navigation options. i enjoy just flipping pictures, no looking at the thumbs every time to check my cursor is over the next image i want to see.

keep it up

Check out Zack Arias blog. He does a series of website / folio crits that really help you to hone your site and image selections.
