Shot this last weekend, have the chance to reshoot on friday (with snowboarders also) Any comments/ideas would be really welcome. Won't leave the photos up for too long as they will go off for submission.

Hi, thanks for the advice, the reshoot was not entirely successful due to lack of rider motivation/bad set up (duh!). Gonna try again in the next couple of days though. I've got a snowboarder who can do fs handplants on the wall, so hopefully that will work out nice with a slightly revised angle.

i like the second snap way better, the first one, the thing isn't too big and looks super mellow...centered comp and the feature just doesn't carry filling the whole photo. Only thing i could see fixing in the second is get a little lower and separate the feature from the BG mountains. Homie's trick is a lot nicer, too... What's off the backside? think they could air off it? That might make the action a little more worthy...

I originally liked the first shot better - more of in-you-face-action, but I'm digging the second more and more with the epic background. maybe if you got the action and closeness of the 1st, but shifted over to more behind the jump so you could see some background too that would be cool.
