Alex Cantin frontside boardslide on a gate in Quebec city,
I like the lighting and the exposure ,
Timing is bang on and comp is good from my point of view,
The blue sky is alright but I wish I could have work with a grey sky,
A little fill light in the bottom of the wall would help,
Im still pretty stoked with it

likes? dislikes?

yea, this is sick.
only a couple of things, it's really close to being a gutter shot if you wanted it to be DPS. Also, like you said, some fill on the wall and maybe try to sort the slight hotspot under the rider.
good job.

you're shootin hams! hes wearin right colors, sick style, timing, feature.. all sweet, trees look cool, i like how theres a touch of a light on the wall and then theres a touch of light on that building in the back, maybe some fill but its not killing the shot. hes colors really pull it together. nice work

really cool shot. the lighting and colors work well together to make the boarder pop.
I find the trees and buildings to the left and right a little distracting, but it looks like it would be tough to get a shot without them, maybe if you moved left or right and shot at an angle instead of side on? but that might mess up your composition, so maybe not...

my two biggest issues; light on the wall is really flat, not showing the texture.
the strongest line completely dissects the picture in half, and doesn't directly bring your eye to the action.

I agree about the light on the wall + I'm not 100% stoked on the comp, I agree it's pretty close the gutter,
I should have used my regular reflector instead of my bigger one so I would have light the wall better

I don't agree much with the line, my eye go to the action pretty good!

I haven't tried any photoshop for the wall,
my only adjustments were +0,12 for the exposure and 8 for the blacks

Anyway, thanks guys for the good crits!
