whats the point of all the extra space up top and on the right? get closer, to the left, fill the frame with stuff that adds to the photo...i feel like only about 1/3 of the frame is interesting...i might like to see up against the wall on the left, with some dof and the rising line of the wall leading to the rider...might be some interesting texture in it that way too.

and each time i never certain of my crop

I don't think the crop could save this. The angle is straight on, the rider is right in the middle of the frame...it looks exactly the same as it would to someone just standing there watching. We need to give them a new perspective. Get closer and find an angle that isn't so obvious--in this case, i think something that emphasizes the texture in the wall could really work to your advantage. All the stuff on the right is a lot busier than the actual feature, and just draws the eye away, too...
