Rich, I really don't mind that the thing didn't fire. This is cool. Maybe a little bit earlier, when the guy is still spinning? (On the other hand, I know nothing about BMX). Not sure about the coloring.
Take care buddy.
I like the image. The lighting even though it was a misfire works for me. The shadow detail on his left arm is fantastic. Timing / position of rider in frame and relative to the ramp seems slightly suspect but I don't know jack shit about BMX so take that FWIW. I dig the PP work though the toning might be a bit blue and the flash on the floor really doesn't bug me.

Oh hell yeah it does!
Haha
Thanks guys!
Thanks brian!
I have alot of friends who studied in Digital manipulation, And their'll all bitching at me to clone the flash out (Dont know how, but a few of them want to teach me) and its hell to try and explain to them that in the action sports photo community, it's look upon as "faking" a shot and as an incredible Sin. ARG. lol
that flash is really bugging me!
it's not for editorial, just clone it out, go in photoshop, press S (clone stamp) hold option and click next to the flash then move the mouse over the flash and you'll see it disappear
what kind of post processing did you do in order to tone it as you did?
