does anybody use the elinchrom D-lite 2 or 4 for action stuff? It seems to be a reasonable buy for about the same price as Alien Bees. the thing I'm mainly worried about is the flash duration. listed as 800-2000, but I'm assuming that's for t.5. then again, the bees don't have the best reputation for duration either. so yeah, anybody got something to say? thanks.

hey i know Dan Carr uses elinchrom gear, not sure if its the d-lite's but you can contact him for info. he's pretty good at replying to stuff like that!!! dancarrphotography.com/blog/

thanks, I think he just uses Rangers though, and they sure as hell have fast durations! now I just need the $2k..... I decided to go with the AB400 since it has acceptable speeds.
