Is it excessive to carry a small can of pepper spray in your pocket or bag when shooting skating? We do go to some sketchy spots sometimes but I don't really know how I feel about it. For the record I dont have any just asking.
Any thoughts?

i've heard of several photogs that carry a gun when shooting on-location, but it's fucking stupid IMO.
on other hand, i'd rather use a skateboard as a weapon than pepper spray

Yeah you guys are right, it was just an idea. dude, carrying a gun is so gnarly. I'm convinced that I could kill someone with my fm2 when using it and then take a picture of the body if came down to it.

i wouldnt go so far as to carry illegally concealed, but i always keep something in the car. you never know whats gonnna happen in life. def not something to be taken lightly, guns are serious business. but if you're in sketch town i personally could see keeping one around.
