Self Portrait Project... 2 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 3
Well...I've got more time than athletes to shoot with this summer and got really sick of wishing I was out shooting. So...

Started obsessing about that one so I went back...

Still not happy so...

I'm getting closer with that image. Location is 10 minutes from the house so it's gonna be my nemesis for a while I think. Need some clouds next time.

Full face makes me look thinner...

and taping the PW to the brake fluid reservoir makes riding a bit easier.

No more excuse not to pick up the camera every day. Now I just need to learn how to ride a bike.

good work on getting out to shoot. what cable are you using for PW-Camera. i've been looking and 100+ for band name sounds lame, and 10 bucks from china via ebay sounds sketchy at best
going to be hitting up the self portraitography when i get the go ahead from doc/physio about it (curse you knees!)

I threw down for the brand name. It was a total rip off but I wanted to buy it once and be done. The hell if I wanted to be standing in BFE having hauled all that kit out there to have a cable fail me. I'm trying to source a good pressure pad type trigger device that I can just tape to the grips. Trying to keep a finger on the test button and control over the bike is proving hazardous to myself and the flora and fauna around me. Having to rely on so many extra bits of gear is the worst part of these shots.

Hey chad,

this is looking almost rad, what are you using to trigger your camera and which camera?

I think you're almost quite there, cloud cover or a sunrise (sunset?) in the background might be really sick too

had my first go at self portaits with very minimal success (trying way way too much for my first try)

also found your frustration with the PW being too big for the handlebars, but alas! i found a solution www.gophotography.net/tips/cordsfire.html

hope this helps chad

Thanks guys. I found a couple dif. solutions to trigger the PW's but haven't had a chance to put em to use since they require a multi-max which I have not been able to spend for yet.

Brian ~ shooting a 1dmk3 using 2 PW+II's.

WTF man? No credit as your muse?

Where'd you get that blog layout? I'm desperate for a new blog right now.

haha maybe i'll go back and add you, i had been looking at this project for a while, just coincidence we started doing it.

its a wordpress blog embeded in a css website layout (i think) i got my brother who has made a couple websites to make it, asked him for things i wanted (integrated blog was defiantly specified) if you want more info i could get more from him, as he knows how its really working (from the back end)
